Weekly-“ish” indeed! What did you miss in the last couple of weeks?
NYC—NERDLESQUE, yo, plus The Wild Project, Hotsy Totsy’s ’70s Action TV, and Hotsy’s Star Trek, an interview with Nasty Canasta for Naked Girls Reading, and a slightly more thoughtful (critical?) look at NGR, also ASSTOPIA, and the 2nd Annual Asian Bq Fest is coming,
U.S. Other—The Texas Burlesque Fest happened, an Ozzie performer interviewed in Indiana, Indiana kind of thinks sex is ok, Mother’s Day in Miami, Basement Burlesque Troupe of Florence in the Quad Cities (we couldn’t figure out where that is), burlesque in Sonoma County (that’s near San Francisco), before and after glam shots in Baltimore, and a total flap in Baltimore about a burlesque story running on Easter. (That’s Jesus’ Day.)
—and a full-on car wash in New Zealand.
Coming next week, May 11, the Mother’s Day Burlesque Brunch in NYC with legends Kitten Natividad, Shannon Doah, and Jean Idelle.
